UA Brokers Without Borders and Direct Relief have teamed up to support the Сlinical hospital for Mothers and Children named after prof. M. F. Rudnev in Dnipro!
Thanks to this partnership, the hospital has received a new 450-liter autoclave to enhance its central sterilization unit’s efficiency.
Сlinical hospital for Mothers and Children named after prof. M. F. Rudnev, with a century-long history as a children's hospital, has expanded its care since the start of the full-scale invasion. It now treats not just children but also adults with war-related injuries, leveraging the expertise of its surgical team, which excels in complex procedures, from open-heart surgeries to advanced reconstructive operations.
With such a heavy caseload, the sterilization unit works almost around the clock, processing about 2,500 surgical instruments and nearly 1,400 other medical items daily!
The new European-made autoclave replaces outdated Soviet-era equipment, significantly lightening their load and improving efficiency.
