The charitable organization Charitable Foundation UA Brokers Without Borders as an implementing partner of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), has commenced technical assessments and monitoring of light and medium repairs for 125 vulnerable households in Kharkiv Oblast damaged by military actions.
This work is part of a project implemented by IOM Ukraine with funding from USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, USAID Ukraine.
The project began in November 2024 and will continue through March 2025. Its goal is to support the most vulnerable residents of Kharkiv Oblast whose homes have been affected by military actions and require light or medium repairs.
As part of the project, our organization is working closely with local authorities to develop a list of private households most in need of assistance. Our civil engineers conduct technical assessments of the damaged households to determine the scope of necessary repairs in accordance with the project's criteria. The repair work will be carried out by contractors selected by IOM under the supervision of our civil engineers. Once completed, all restored households will be officially handed over to their owners with the proper documentation.
This project aims to help families return to living in safe, repaired homes.
We extend our gratitude to IOM Ukraine for their trust and to the communities of Kharkiv Oblast for their readiness to collaborate. Together, we strengthen the resilience of the region and build a shared future.
